🗺️ Yuan Railway Model Museum

📝 Introduction

Open to viewing the vast collection of world-class railway model makers and collectors.

📖 Details

The museum showcases the railway models and railway-related collectibles created and collected by the world-renowned railway model maker and collector, Mr. Haru Nobutaro. The museum houses approximately 1,500 railway models, with around 1,000 on display, all personally crafted by Haru Nobutaro, realistically reproducing railway trains from Japan, Europe, and the United States. The models are powered by overhead power lines, and the trains emit clattering sounds on the iron tracks, creating an incredibly lifelike experience. Among the exhibits is the world's largest three-dimensional model, "Ichiban Tetumo Park," which stretches 450 meters in length, featuring highly realistic street scenes and vehicles. (Note: The area is roughly the size of a tennis court, making it the largest indoor model on public display in the world.) These collections include not only railway models but also the "Ichiban Kippu" (the first ticket issued upon the opening of a railway line), nameplates, railway control devices (main controllers), and other actual railway items that have been used, as well as many railway visual materials that can no longer be seen today. The rich display content not only attracts railway model enthusiasts but also captivates railway fans.
